30 year anniversary

…of my first wedding. We were just kids playing adults.

Surely in love, but could this girl be really thinking that she is ready to start her own family?

My self-made hairdo did not look so great ;) but the dress was pretty good

considering that I made it impromptu right before the wedding.

Even though later we discovered that it was a silly idea and we were utterly incompatible, this little person we created made it all worthwhile ;)

I remember how much I enjoyed developing those first photos of my baby.

We finally were able to get out of the house, the roads were more or less drivable. And the day was beautiful.

Some streets became totally inaccessible.

Even though we suffered for almost 2 days and one freezing night without electricity, I enjoyed all beautiful things that come with the snow.

Within one day we got so much snow…we couldn’t believe it.

2009 significant & silly highlights

2009 was probably one of the most significant years of my life.
My hands are not well enough to type all the details, so here are the highlights, I will bring related stories later and link them to the lines bellow:

Important dates of the year:
— my 50th BD,
— 25th Ksen’s BD,
— 15th anniversary of living in US;
I got a glimpse of finding my inner peace (and that is the most important happening in my new and improved life);
Took lots of classes in trading & active investing, looking for a new way of making income without using my hands excessively;
Started eating normal food and enjoying a lot our new (that used to be my old) diet (meat, eggs, butter, etc.);
I suddenly started enjoying rock music (even hard rock and heavy metal);
Upgraded to more upscale shopping and refreshed my wardrobe with colors I haven’t worn for years, if ever;
After several years of not going anywhere, went quite a few times to the movie theaters and concerts;
Upgraded to a new coffer brand (being extremely particular about coffee, it is an important event ;-));
Started exercising with Wii (oh!, finally so much fun to get fit);
Went to the ocean…after so many years.
