about
I started this blog with the intent to improve my writing skills and to share some personal and creative photos with my friends. Little did I know that within few weeks I would hardly be able to type another word without screaming from pain in my hands and elbows. Incapacitated with severe RSI from overwork/computer overuse, I started my long journey of healing… with all possible means. Focus on positive and beautiful things around me works significantly better than any medication, it helps me to relax and be grateful for every pain-free moment in my life.
Within 2 years of struggle and great discoveries, I improved my health to the point when I can write couple of sentences without taking a break, still yet to recover when I can type a whole paragraph at once.
Not being able to use my professional photo equipment (too heavy to handle), I take my pictures with a cell phone or a tiny point-and-shoot camera. That gives me a sense of accomplishment even when the pictures are simple and silly snapshots and are far from real photography.
I employ everything I can find to improve my mood and overall to heal my wounded arms. This includes but not limited to:
- taking endless pictures of the sky, of myself, of everything that excites me, or of something that is just available at the moment (when my hands don’t hurt);
- watching comedy shows, motivational and funny movies, AFV, etc., as many as possible (especially when in pain);
- improving and enjoying my diet;
- learning something new that does not require use of my hands;
- …
- to be continued.
Even though this blog is not advertised, nor searchable, and is for my friends by invitation only, the web is for everyone and I am surprised to see that lots of people from different parts of the world find it entertaining to visit my blog.
welcome to i the world!
after all, the world is… what we think it is.
let’s make it beautiful
