Tonight, I suddenly felt an urge to get back to my shooting. Still weak and wounded, I managed to take a few fun long exposures using as usual my favorite little flash light for painting face abstracts.

My most successful self-portrait ever! Seriously, I absolutely love it. Some day I will create a gallery of light painted portraits.

I don’t remember being bored for at least 15 years. Now, after 15 months of struggling with TOS and not making as much progress as I hoped for, I start getting grumpy. I can’t get back to my love affair with photography and photoshop, so I keep trying to entertain myself with silly cellphone pictures and 5 min amateur PS.

Unfortunately, someone adopted our little dream-dog (we hope they are perfect for her), so now we are looking for a different baby whom we can make a part of our family. I really adore this girl (she has only one eye) but hesitate to attempt an adoption because she is little too big for me to handle. I still can hardly lift more than 4-5lb and my capacity is improving very slowly… She is so precious and I would want to give her the best grooming, but I wouldn’t be able to :(

For the v-day we decided to give our love to someone very special. Yesterday, we submitted application for adoption of little precious Tillie. We didn’t meet yet but fell in love with her picture and her story and really hope to get approval…

The most fascinating about the class was that people were all kinds of ages and origins. I’ve never seen a wider variety ;) That was fun. Now we have to work hard to make it worthwhile.

Иногда просматриваю старые картинки и нахожу в них отражение собственных мыслей и настроений. Чувствую себя слегка растрёпанной и потерянной, но продолжаю стоять на одной ноге (как эта чайка на ветру) и надеяться на то, что можно полететь даже с пораниным крылом. Нужно только очень-очень сильно захотеть…
