old friends

Found one more old friend of mine. We haven’t seen each other for 24 years. Why life is going so fast?

latest trophy

Disabled photographer of the year ;) couldn’t lift the trophy. All photos submitted for the competition of the year were taken before my injury and later altered within 5-10 minutes. I tried really hard to keep myself motivated and hopeful that some day I will be free from pain and get back to my creative photography.

idea worth spreading

Jill Bolte Taylor got a research opportunity few brain scientists would wish for: She had a massive stroke, and watched as her brain functions — motion, speech, self-awareness — shut down one by one. An astonishing story.

the way we are

These pictures are posted specifically for my friends oversea who haven’t seen me for many years and want to get a strait forward visual information what my family looks like right now.

under the rainbow

Tonight we went to get some groceries and that was perfect timing. Probably the largest and the brightest double rainbow I’ve ever seen. Cell phone quality is not so good but still satisfies my craving for shooting the beauty around us.

back from nyc

We always enjoy New York and this trip was great as usual even though we didn’t do anything special and I did not take any pictures (a few phone shots are not photography). Spent lots of time with Kseniya (we miss her) and Matt (such nice guy :)

Very serious young couple.

bill’s kitchen

In 2004 we went to Baltimore for a digital photography workshop. During the break we went to MICA to see what creative young people came up with. I love this surrealistic kitchen, and Bill fits there just right. Don’t you think?

I’m able to hold my phone for 2-3 minutes now…little but progress.

inner self

I had a chance to learn about my inner self – literally – by looking at my MRI photos. wow!..it’s fascinating. I love myself even more now, from inside out. This is a multiplication (with rotation) of my favorite image.
