las vegas 2006
31. May 2008 by tw.
Checked old discs from Brian’s camera and found never copied files from our trip to Las Vegas PS conference in Sep 2006. I was so happy to spend 3 days with photoshop geeks… This was probably a few minutes to see the sun during lunch break.

First time Brian was shooting with 20D and zoom 70-200. I really like this shot of those little fluffs :)

Brookside gardens.

tos update
22. May 2008 by tw.
Within last 6 months I did make some progress, but mostly in slowing down my life. I’ve learned a lot about my own limitations and how to avoid flareups by NOT doing things that my hands-arms are not capable of right now. My incapacity is still so severe that sometimes I almost loose my hope that one day I will get back to my photography, and I seriously doubt that I won’t have to change my career.
This image was taken with Brian’s hands and my directions in composition during our last trip to New York. Would be great if he enjoyed taking pictures under my directions… at least we can try.

the queen
15. May 2008 by tw.
My friend miss Dakota 1966. It was so interesting to discover that my most progressive friend used to be a part of her college sorority and was a beauty queen. Oh, Maggie… I’m sure your kingdom is happy to have you back ;) but we are missing you already. Looking forward to your stories from SD.

It makes me look 20 years younger without any photoshop involvement.

Photoshop World was one of the most exciting events in my hardworking life within last few years. This picture was taken last year during NAPP conference in Boston through the window of the convention building. I hope some day to be part of that world again.

It’s kind of quick and sloppy but I have to practice to be creative even if I can not spend much time on a computer… I got 3rd place for it in our last competition, which secured my winning position and made me a photographer of the year (this time in electronic/altered category). Maybe when I recover I should try to participate in more challenging competitions.
