the curious incident

I haven’t read fiction for many years. Accidentally found this book at b&n. Very engaging and beautifully strange, sad, and funny. Reminds me Catcher in the Rye and Школа для дураков (School for Fools). Bought the book, came home, opened the bag…, and found totally different book with bright yellow cover! what a curious incident ;) had to go back next day to exchange. Now I have one more thing to love and one more creative person to enjoy.

what was i thinking?..

I was truly exhausted for the last couple of months of work.
Now I spent 2 months learning how to combine my handicap with positive attitude. It’s not easy.
Even though this photo was taken as a joke, I was actually feeling that I was falling apart, and I’m still working on putting pieces back together.

socialize to beat the pain

I’m convinced that socializing with positive & creative people is the best, if not the only, way to overcome and truly defeat the frustration, anger, irritation, depression…the list is endless…all those feeling that come with chronic pain. Having to see so many great people at the reception of our club’s exhibit today gave me an opportunity to bluff and enjoy the moment.

good day + new book

Went to Arlington for a peak at Michael Shermer’s lecture, got his newest book The Mind of the Market with the signing, enjoyed the day… Brian is doing everything to entertain me and keep my thoughts away from my too slowly healing tendons.
