Happy Birthday sweetie!
This was the best dinner I’ve ever had…some day will do it again.

computer addict rehab

My sad days continue… I can’t use computer for more than 5 minutes without hurting my hands

All I can do is rest as much as possible and wait for my body to heal… (these photos were taken in Las Vegas last year. Resting after the NAPP conference)

art therapy, incapacitation, etc.

Spent most of my day with my two dear friends, two women I truly admire. Got lots of inspiration at Corcoran from the photography of Annie Leibovitz and Ansel Adams.

I’m getting to the level of incapacitation when using mouse & keyboard for more than 5 minutes is becoming a painful torture. I think, another couple of days and I won’t be able to put my make up on…

I will not post anything for a while unless Brian will help me.

jewelry therapy

Do I care that beautiful jewelry don’t make me look so pretty when I’m sick and kind of ugly? Not really. Diamonds don’t excite me but a good design does. I went to Arts and Crafts festival today specifically to get my art fix. This absolutely original ring and a very cute pendant make me feel so good…I almost forget about my hurting hands.

fascinating creativity

Well Done: a food company annual report that has to be cooked first.

sister

Happy Birthday, sister!
Maybe will write some thoughts about her later but now just post this very old blurry photo of us.

jury duty

Today was probably one of the most boring days of my life (just like this photo) I had to serve my “highest citizen’s duty”…spent several hours in court waiting…never been called and finally dismissed with $15 payment :) At least I didn’t have to do anything with my hands, just read a lot about how to deal with RSI problem.

The image of the boring road I took on purpose, planning to test if I can make it any better with Lab color mode. You’ll be the judge.

nostalgia

[a wistful desire to return in thought or in fact to a former time in one’s life, to one’s home or homeland…] I have never desired to return to my homeland.
Came across my old photograph…very interesting to look at myself when I was young and healthy but not as happy with my life as I am 20 years later.

tribute to my hands

I took them for granted…never though they would hurt so much. RSI, Carpal Tunnel, and other hands abuse problems are too common to feel alone in the world of pain. I went to a hand therapist with a silly hope to find a magic solution to ease my despair. The sadness in his eyes didn’t give me much optimism to rely on.

bellydance

Last night we watched Babelesque bellydance superstars at Birchmere. Angelica is taking bellydance classes and she already looks like a superstar ;) doesn’t she?
